Maintaining your certification
When you pass the PMP exam, you maintain your certification by completing Professional Development Units (PDUs).
- You’ll be required to earn 60 PDUs every three years.
- 35 education PDUs are required.
- 25 PDUs can come from volunteering, presenting, or mentoring.
- Your PDUs must align with PMIs talent triangle skills of Ways of Working, Power Skills, and Business Acumen.
- You can earn free PDU’s via webinars or purchase online classes.
